Anacortes

We have had a hard time figuring out how to end this trip. We had left our car in Bellingham, so we had hoped to find a temporary moorage there, or at least stop and pick up our car. But there are no slips available and the Customs and Border Protection folks reminded us that we have to clear in at one of the 5 designated ports of entry, which doesn't include Bellingham. So we have ended up in Anacortes for now. We had a nice visit with friends Greg and Dina and their granddaughter Kendall before heading on down the road for home.

Howdy there sailors, welcome home ! Well, at least welcome back to Woods Creek, as SC has been your fun home most this summer, how lucky! I love all your photos and details. I have finally found time to check out your blog, thanks for taking that time to share. Glad to hear you got to the Saturday Market in Ganges, groovy little spot, and I remember the anchorage as being a bit unstable, lots of rocking and rolling, during our visit there with Gertrud and Crew, summer '03, or was that '04? Riding my 2 wheeler recently thur the islands in early June, I had fond memories of our boats sharing the docks and fun (and teddy bears!) at Roach Harbor. See you three soon here in the Wilamette Valley. Happy Trails, Love Cathy
